Tessa Schultz DNP, APRN, PMHNP- BC, Founder

Tessa Schultz, DNP, APRN, PMHNP - BC, is the founder of The Sunroom and a board - certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with full practice authority in Illinois. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Bachelor’s degree in both nursing and community health. Tessa is certified in ketamine assisted therapy through Integrative Psychiatry Institute and is a research award recipient for her work in pediatric mood disorders. With years of experience in clinical care and graduate level teaching, she created The Sunroom to offer something more - mental health care that’s deeply human, sensory, and healing. Her approach blends science with soul, honoring the body as part of the medicine.
